The American People have been asking why ABC covered up the Epstein story for the past few weeks, but maybe the social media team at ABC responsible for listening to public sentiment didn’t see any such stats trending.
Yet another miss on “good citizenship” that we all might expect from an organization such as ABC News. One can say at this point that consumer trust with ABC News is now questionable at best. George Stephanopoulos and the team at ABC should know better, don’t you think?

On Sunday, Megyn Kelly broke the story about how House Minority Leader Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) is now demanding that ABC News answer why they spiked the Jeffrey Epstein story three years ago.
Why did ABC let go of a story that had significant evidence on convicted pedophile and sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein…a story involving former Democratic President Bill Clinton? Meanwhile, ABC News thought that chasing after “Trump’s words” on Twitter and his impeachment was what their audience wanted to hear about for the past three years.
What heroes of journalism.
Full story from The Epoch Times here. This comes after video footage obtained by Project Veritas emerged earlier this month showing ABC News reporter Amy Robach admitting that she had received information from Epstein accuser Virginia Roberts Giuffre but that the network had decided not to air it.
Giuffre alleges the late financier used her as an underage sex slave for himself and his friends, including Prince Andrew.
Robach also claimed that the network had received threats from Buckingham Palace when Prince Andrew became implicated in the alleged abuse claims.
But don’t worry, “this is all just a conspiracy theory.” Prince Andrew claimed this weekend, in an interview with the BBC, that he doesn’t recall ever even meeting Virginia Roberts Giuffre and that the photo of them together “is fake because he never hugs anyone.”
Despite those “truths” from Andrew and BBC, Buckingham Palace had very good reason to threaten ABC a few years ago. Things aren’t adding up with this story; they had reason to threaten ABC into spiking the story.
On Saturday night, Andrew told BBC Newsnight’s Emily Maitlis that he had not noted any suspicious behavior when he spent time with Epstein.
In what has been widely panned as a “car crash interview,” the prince again denied having sex with a then 17-year-old Giuffre and claimed that on that night, he had been with his daughter at a pizza restaurant.
Wow, this all went down a while ago. Andrew has a really good memory and it must have been quite an iconic one, you know, the act of having pizza with his daughter on a night so long ago.
ABC had evidence of human sex trafficking, and they let it go. Let that sink in if you haven’t done so already. Last I heard, aiding a criminal to cover-up crimes against humanity was criminal. But I’m no lawyer so I digress.

On Sunday evening Megyn Kelly shared two photographs of the letter signed by the Congressman on her official Instagram account addressed to ABC News President James Goldston.

In his letter to ABC’s Goldston, McCarthy references the recent footage, writing: “As you must have seen, a video has emerged of ABC News Anchor, Amy Robach, expressing regret and frustration over a decision by ABC News executives three years ago to not publish a first-hand account from one of Jeffrey Epstein’s accusers.
“In the video, Ms. Robach remarks her evidence was collected over three years ago, but was ‘quashed’ because she was told ‘no one knows who Epstein is,’ therefore rendering it a ‘stupid story.’”
He continues: “What appears to have been presented to Ms. Robach is first-hand evidence of human trafficking. I am deeply concerned that this victim, in search of justice, went to ABC News, provided information and an interview and then ABC News chose to bury the truth.”
MK EXCLUSIVE: House Min. Leader Kevin McCarthy accuses ABC of endangering minors by spiking Epstein story in 2015: “ABC News’ enabling of Mr. Epstein [raises]…the possibility that any number of minors could have been spared from human trafficking over the past three years.”

MK EXCLUSIVE: House Min. Leader Kevin McCarthy accuses ABC of “enabling Epstein,” demands answers: “Although it is unclear whether anyone thought to alert authorities…it is clear that ABC News’ enabling of Mr. Epstein has consequences: fewer victims willing to come forward”

“What appears to have been presented to Ms. Robach is first-hand evidence of human trafficking,” McCarthy wrote. “I am deeply concerned that this victim, in search of justice, went to ABC News, provided information and an interview, and then ABC News chose to bury the truth. This was a decision that Ms. Robach alluded was due to protecting powerful people or financial interests.”
MK EXCLUSIVE: House Min. Leader McCarthy requests from ABC: 1) provide the Robach interview 2) what facts led to decision not to run it? 3) who was involved? 4) what “outside forces” influenced the call? 5) what evid did Robach have & 6) did ABC ever alert authorities re Epstein?

Is it me, or is it appalling that someone in Congress should even need to request this information from ABC?
I’m not sure what’s worse. The fact that ABC News had evidence of human sex trafficking and they buried it for political gain. Or, that it’s now been several weeks since Project Veritas broke this news and they’ve still not used unsolicited good standing merit to release Robach’s story. What is ABC News hiding?
