OMG, LeBron. Shut your piehole already.
According to this, LeBron James decided to speak out about the whole China/NBA hullabaloo when his team came back from a week-long trip to China, and what he said resulted in Drudge running this headline:
And frankly, that pretty well sums it up.
You know what he said about Houston Rockets GM Daryl Morey’s tweet which said nothing other than “Fight For Freedom: Stand With Hong Kong?” Just look:

“He wasn’t educated on the situation at hand,” he said. About Morey’s tweet. Seriously.
At least NBA Commissioner Adam Silver refuses to apologize for Morey’s tweet, and rightly so. WE ARE F*CKING AMERICANS and we can speak out against commies. It’s kind of what we’re supposed to do. State-run TV in China pulled NBA telecasts, and Silver’s response was simply, “It’s unfortunate, but if that’s the consequences of us adhering to our values, we still feel it’s critically important we adhere to those values.”
YES. Exactly. Silver basically said it sucks that Chinese people are mad, but we have freedom of speech here. Perhaps that’s something they oughta look into.
There was a lot of backlash on social media, so LeBron took to Twitter to say this:
Awww – your had yourself a hard week, did you? Was it as hard as the week Hong Kong’s demonstrators and China’s Uighurs have had, you spoiled, entitled idiot?
I suppose now is a good time to mention LeBron’s skillion dollar deal with Nike, which does a lot of business in China. Because let’s be real here. That’s what matters to LeBron.
