Many consider Pete Buttigieg to be ‘Beto’ O’Rourke’s downfall.
Basically, there was only room for one young white beta male in this race, and Pete is gay, so he got all the points.
It’s no wonder Beto has been waiting for his opportunity to cuss him out (since that’s apparently all he knows how to do.)
Buttigieg criticized Beto’s now infamous “HELL YEAH WE’RE COMING FOR YER GUNS!” moment:
CNN’s Jake Tapper: “Beto O’Rourke raised some eyebrows by saying ‘Hell, yes, we’re going to take your AR-15, your AK-47’ at the debate… Did Beto O’Rourke say something that’s playing into the hands of Republicans?”
Pete Buttigieg: “Yes.”#CNNSOTU pic.twitter.com/GnTMaPgchE

Yes. It ABSOLUTELY is playing in to “our hands.” Every SINGLE time some Dem tries to say “we never said we’re taking your guns,” do you know what we’ll be playing on loop?
“HELL YESSSS WE’RE GOING TO TAKE YOUR AR-15, YOUR AK-47.”
That’s all you need to know, folks. (PS: the HELL you are.)
Anyway. Beto’s maaaad. Not just for stealing his thunder, but you know. For talking smack.
Former Congressman Beto O’Rourke has hit South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg via tweet twice today following Buttigieg’s appearance on @CNNSotu, where he said O’Rourke’s plan for a mandatory assault rifle buyback program is “something that’s playing into the hands of the Republicans” pic.twitter.com/18q4QKlWFX

When candidates say, “At least Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell are pretending to be interested,” shit, that is not enough. Neither is poll-testing your message. Gun violence is a life or death issue—and we have to represent the bold ideas of people all over the country. pic.twitter.com/jE2uiXaENZ

Leaving millions of weapons of war on the streets because Trump and McConnell are “at least pretending to be open to reforms”?
That calculation and fear is what got us here in the first place. Let’s have the courage to say what we believe and fight for it. https://t.co/SSnFT600Vm

Clearly he had to throw in a cuss word. It’s his “thing.”
Take a deep breath, Robert…and drop out.
