AOC Says Housing Should Be A Guaranteed Human Right, Ahead Of The ‘Privilege” To MAKE A PROFIT.

OMG THIS CHICK’S IDIOCY KNOWS NO BOUNDS.

So according to the sourcelink, AOC was at a town hall in the Bronx this past Thursday and actually said, out loud, the following:

“We have to make sure that housing is being legislated as a human right. What does that mean? What it means is that our access and our ability and our guarantee to having a home comes before someone else’s privilege to earn a profit.”

What in the holy hell.

She legit must think money just floats into the government from magical money fairies.

What does she mean by a guaranteed home?

“What it means is that we all have a right to dignified housing, good heat, responsible structures, low noise, clean air, and clean water at an affordable price! At an affordable price!”

And then she got personal, telling the story of getting her own DC apartment:

“I come into this building and it’s marketed a luxury building in D.C., right?” Ocasio-Cortez continued. “I move into this luxury building in D.C. and what does it have? It’s an efficient building, it’s clean, it has public space, it has a rooftop garden, y’all watch my Instagram, it has all of these things, it has clean air, it has clean water.”

“And I think about this and I’m like this is what a luxury building is like, right?” Ocasio-Cortez added. “What we have been taught that is a luxury, should not be a luxury.”

And that’s actually the problem. People like AOC think everyone has a right, and is entitled, to things that are generally considered total luxuries by much of the world. What’s considered “poverty” in America usually includes the possession of an iPhone and more than one TV set.

A rooftop garden? A new standard of what everyone should have a right to, according to AOC. And how will that be paid for? Well, she’d probably just say something like this:

She has no answer, y’all. It’s just money from the fairies.

OF COURSE people have the right to work to earn profits. That’s the beauty of our capitalist society. It’s what fuels the entire economy. Without profits, there’d be no growth, no incentive – HOW can she not see this?
