The 8-Year-Old AOC Impersonator Is Back, Hits Way Too Close to Home with New Video

I tend to back away when it comes to kids making political videos, but I have to admit that this was, in the very least, amusing.

Meet Ava Martinez. She’s an 8-year-old who is way too good at impersonating Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. It’s uncanny, really.

She quickly rose to fame with this video:

“And, like, I want to talk about, like, climate change, because, like, there’s no doubt that cow farts are making the climate change.”

This sweet, adorable, 8yo actress is not only much cuter than the real #AlexandriaOcasioCortez but she’s also already much smarter too. That hits a little too close to home.

Well, she’s back.

“Hi, AOC here again, and, like, I’m going to talk about, like, the three branches of the government, which are the Nina, the Pinta and the Santa Maria,” she says in the video.

She (and her parents) make joke about the criticisms that they’re using her.

“Please help me,” she says when her parents are in the other room. “My parents are making me do these videos. They’re crazy right-wingers. They watch Fox News and listen to Rush Limbaugh and some Russian guy named Drumpf. I don’t even know who this ABC lady is. I just want to have a normal childhood like Britney Spears or Lindsay Lohan.”

“But they think doing these AOC … videos will help me get into Harvard so I won’t have to brag my way in and pretend I’m 1/16th Cherokee,” she continues. “Please, send someone. Send ICE, or the FBI — but not James Comey.”
