One important thing to keep in mind: Just because you’re “influential” doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a positive thing. However, I’m pretty sure TIME meant for Pelosi to take her cover shot as an “honor.”

I’m pretty sure TIME’s decision to include Brett Kavanaugh’s accuser– Christine Blasey Ford– is supposed to be viewed as an honor too. I mean, look what Kamala Harris wrote about her. She said she “risked everything.”
“Her story, spoken while holding back tears, shook Washington and the country. Her courage, in the face of those who wished to silence her, galvanized Americans,” Harris wrote. “And her unfathomable sacrifice, out of a sense of civic duty, shined a spotlight on the way we treat survivors of sexual violence.”
“Christine Blasey Ford’s ambition wasn’t to become a household name or make it onto this list. She had a good life and a successful career—and risked everything to send a warning in a moment of grave consequence,” she continued.
Sorry, but I don’t feel bad. She “risked everything” to LIE and sully a good man’s reputation. Someone explain how that’s deserving of sympathy.
“At her core, she is a teacher,” she added. “And through her courage, she forced the country to reckon with an issue that has too often been ignored and kept in the dark.”
She actually made everything worse for ACTUAL victims of sexual assault, but nice try Kamala.
FYI, Justice Brett Kavanaugh is also on the list, which is only fair. Feminists are freaking out over that, because of course they are.
You put her on the same list as the man she said assaulted her.
