WATCH: Tucker Carlson & Joe Concha Discuss Poor Ratings for CNN
This speaks volumes, doesn’t it?
Many of the Democratic Party’s 800 candidates have been participating in town hall-style events on CNN and MSNBC. The latest? Kirsten Gillibrand. She appeared at an event hosted by CNN, and yiiiiiiikes. As it turns out, it was the lowest rated town hall of all town halls so far. She attracted a measly 491,000 viewers Tuesday night.

Yowza. It’s especially bad when you consider that Sen. Kamala Harris’ town hall attracted nearly 2 million viewers.
Among other 2020 hopefuls, a CNN town hall in February with Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) drew 1.17 million viewers, while Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.) attracted 929,000 viewers for his CNN event last month.
It gets worse. Fox News’ “Ingraham Angle” was on at the same time, and she actually garnered over 2 million viewers. Oh. And MSNBC beat Gillibrand too.
The Gillibrand town hall also drew lower ratings that competing cable news networks in the same time slot, with Fox News Channel’s “Ingraham Angle” attracting 2.38 million total viewers to win the hour.
MSNBC’s “The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell” was second for the time slot with 1.86 million viewers.
Yikes. Just wrap it up, Kirsten. We don’t want you to be POTUS. We’re just trying to get some ranch.
