WATCH: After Pelosi calls the wall immoral a religious expert sets her straight
We’ve been dealing with a lot of wall-related drama over the course of the last year. As usual, the left has been desperately attempting to characterize those in favor of the wall of being raging racists behind closed doors. They say we hate immigrants and secretly desire some sort of weird white supremacist society. They continually and deliberately lie in order to deceive the masses, and a lot of the time it works.
We’re not racist. We care about border security. We care about the safety and security of our own citizens. That’s not to say that we don’t care about foreigners. You’re welcome to come here, but do so legally. That’s all we ask.

But nah. We’re racists. That was essentially the reason Democratic lawmakers refused to approve $5 billion for the wall. They’re pretending that walls are “racist.” Hence, the need for Trump’s national security declaration. It’s a slow roll, but I believe we’re making progress. I mean, this is a darn good sign.
As it turns out, the Pentagon has awarded nearly $1 billion– that’s billion with a “b”– in border wall contracts. However, these contracts are for “border replacement wall construction,” which indicates that there is some sort of existing barrier, but it’s so crappy that it’s basically like nothing’s there.
SLSCO Ltd. was awarded a $789 million contract for “border-replacement wall construction,” which will be done in Santa Teresa, NM.
The work is expected to be completed in October 2020, according to a list of contracts published by the US Department of Defense.
In addition, Barnard Construction Co. Inc., a Montana-based company, was awarded a $187 million contract for a wall replacement project in Yuma, Ariz. That work is expected to be finished in September 2020, according to records.
Bottom line, those walls need to be replaced. It’s still a win for national security. Don’t forget that.
