Fact Check: that’s bull crap. (As is most of what comes out of her mouth.) And no – I don’t mean the “solitary confiment is torture” bit. That’s subjective. I mean they don’t even HAVE solitary where Chelsea is currently being held.

According to the Hill:
Manning’s support committee has said her conditions qualify as solitary confinement, and that Manning is kept in her cell 22 hours a day.
“She has not been outside for 16 days. She is permitted to make phone calls and move about outside her cell between 1 and 3 a.m.,” the committee said in a March 23 statement.
Dana Lawhorne, the sheriff in Alexandria, Virginia, where Manning is detained, told CNN that Manning is not in solitary confinement.
“Our facility does not have ‘solitary confinement’ and inmates housed in administrative segregation for safety and security reasons still have access to social visits, books, recreation, and break time outside their cells,” Lawhorne said. “[The] federal government has never suggested to us how to treat any inmate and it is unfair to imply that there is a ‘conspiracy’ of any kind.”
Ocasio-Cortez is one of the highest-profile political figures so far to comment on Manning’s detention. In January, both participated in a charity video game live stream on Twitch to raise money for transgender youth.
Basically, actions have consequences, and Chelsea Manning has made some stupid choices. So here we are.
It’s also important to note that Manning is in protective custody. Is Alexandria suggesting Chelsea should be out of the protective custody program? Because something tells me that would really backfire. As does every idea AOC ever has.

I don’t think AOC is a hypocrite. Not on purpose at least. I think she’s legitimately too stupid to realize how inconsistent the nonsense that spews out of her mouth is.
