Ocasio-Cortez Goes in Front of Congress, Demands Investigation, Is Afraid WH Staffers Will ‘Put Nuclear Codes in Instagram’

Does a day ever go by that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez doesn’t say something monumentally ridiculous? I don’t think so.

Today’s flub is sponsored by Instagram DMs. It happened at a House Oversight Committee meeting, where lawmakers were discussing the possibility of officials using different apps to conduct government business.

“Every day that we go on without getting to the bottom of this matter is a day that we are putting hundreds if not potentially thousands of Americans at risk. I mean, really, what is next, putting nuclear codes in Instagram DMs?!? This is ridiculous,” she said.
