The Migrant Caravanner Who Complained about Free Food Was Just Arrested, Charged with Assault

Remember the “Bean Lady?”

She’s a South American migrant who gained notoriety when she loudly complained about the food the Mexican government was giving her as she waited at the border to seek asylum from the USA.

For those of you who don’t, she complains that the FREE food Mexico is giving her is “pig food.”

Well, she’s back in the news. This time, it’s worse. “Bean Lady” and her sister have been arrested after allegedly assaulting a woman who was giving them a place to stay.

Raise your hand if you’re shocked that this once ungrateful jerk turned out to be a violent ungrateful jerk.

According to Daily Caller:

Gomez went viral in November when she complained to a Spanish language channel that migrants in Mexican camps waiting to enter the United States were only being fed tortillas and refried beans. The woman claimed that the migrants were being treated like “pigs” and said she would “die of hunger” if she did not eat the food she was given.

“Look at what they’re giving us. Refried beans, as if they were feeding the pigs. And the truth is, we don’t have any other options. If we don’t eat this, we will die of hunger,” Gomez whined.

As a Mexican myself, I take issue with this woman’s nasty attitude. We eat refried beans constantly. They weren’t feeding her “pig food” as she called it – they were feeding her what they themselves would willingly eat.

And even if they WERE feeding her less than ideal cuisine, what right does she have to complain?

What did she want? Lobster? Talk about a serious case on entitlement.

Gomez later apologized for her comments and said she was being bullied by the other migrants and was nicknamed “Lady Frijoles” or “Bean Lady.”

“I ask for forgiveness from the bottom of my heart,” she said.

Obviously, she wasn’t sorry, and it goes to show that you can’t teach a nasty, entitled person gratitude. She “allegedly” beat a woman who was giving her a place to stay?

What? Was the mattress not a Sleep Number?

Gomez and her sister are now being held in a detention center in Dallas, Texas on $10,000 bond.

I hope she gets deported immediately. This woman doesn’t deserve anything more than she’s already been given.
