Imagine what the left will look like if President Trump wins in 2020. I thought the mass meltdowns in 2016 were bad, but man. We could be in for a real treat. But after that, there will be a sense of relief, because there will be no way Trump will wade in politics again. But does that mean America will be “free” from the Trump family? Fat chance. Prepare for liberals to scream at the sky: Don Jr. isn’t ruling out jumping into the political fray. He publicly said he’ll “never rule anything out.”
“As for the future…I never want to rule it out,” he told Bloomberg Radio’s Sound On. “I definitely enjoy the fight. I definitely like being out there, and I love being able to see the impact and the difference that it makes on these people’s lives that I get to see all over the country.”
“I get that I’m the son of a billionaire from New York City,” he continued. “But, I think everyone knows and anyone who’s seen me on the campaign trail knows, I have friends in flyover country. I’ve spent time with them over the years hunting, fishing, competitive shooting. All of those things. I mean, I actually spend much more time here than I do at the rubber chicken charity dinner circuit in New York City. These are my people. I get it.”
He’s a lot like his father in that regard. They might be loaded, but they relate to the American people better than most politicians ever could.
“So, watching it make a difference to them, watching them recapture their American dream, that American Dream that’s been exported to foreign countries, most of whom hate our guts, for the last few decades, that’s a huge deal for me,” Don Jr. added.
However, everyone’s going to have to sit tight. It doesn’t sound like he’s going to do anything major while his father is still in office.
“I see what my father’s doing and I’m just damn proud as an American to see those results and I’m going to keep fighting for him,” he said. “I won’t rule it out for myself, but first things first, we’re gonna let him finish up strong.”
It makes sense. If he ran for something now, it would probably serve as nothing more than an inconvenient distraction.
So will he run? Maybe! Only time will tell at this point.
