March 20, 2019I wrote a bit about the ancient kingdoms of the past in a post about Beto and abortion yesterday. It’s been really interesting (and scary, quite frankly) reading about what happened to their culture right before their utter demise. One cultural phenomenon that occurred? The celebration of child sacrifice. It wouldn’t even be a stretch to say that abortion is celebrated in America, because it is. Remember #ShoutYourAbortion?
Another sign of societal decay? Gender confusion and perversion.
Increasingly in those societies, the priests and priestesses of pagan gods would perform sickening acts in public. Sexual perversion became commonplace, and the roles of each gender slowly became obsolete. They embraced– wait for it– fluidity.
It looks different today, but the core isn’t really much different. We have people telling us that it’s offensive to conclude that there are only two sexes and only two corresponding genders. We’re told we’re mean and intolerant and that we must embrace the delicate feelings of those who feel “genderfluid.” That’s actually a common term now. Almost everyone knows what “genderfluid” means. It’s been embraced by pop culture. It’s the new “cool” thing.
Here’s another example.
Popular singer Sam Smith (I guarantee you’ve heard his songs on the radio– “Stay With Me,” anyone?) has informed the world that he doesn’t identify as male or female. Rather, he’s a “mixture of all different things.” He told actress Jameela Jamil that he’s “somewhere in between” the two.
“When I saw the word non-binary/genderqueer and I read into it and I heard these people speaking, I was like, ‘f**k, that is me,’” he said. “Non-binary/genderqueer is that you do not identify in a gender. You are a mixture of all different things. You are your own special creation. That’s how I take it—I am not male or female. I think I float somewhere in between—it’s all on the spectrum.”
Sorry. It doesn’t work that way.
“I’ve always been very free in terms of thinking about my sexuality, so I’ve just tried to change that into my thoughts on gender as well,” he said.
If he’s capable of changing his thoughts on gender, why can’t he bend them back to REALITY? You’re either male or female. The end.
I guess that doesn’t matter, because #feelings.
“I don’t know what the title would be, but I feel just as much woman as I am man,” he once told Rolling Stone.
