De Blasio Spent $300 MILLION In Tax Dollars To Create Jobs In NYC. Guess How That Turned Out.

Democrat supporters will just never learn, will they.

They’ll just continue to support socialist politicians who convince them that their money will be used for good, important, humanitarian things, when the reality is that socialists have NO IDEA HOW TO ACTUALLY DO GOOD THINGS WITH MONEY.

Case in point.

Back in July of 2017, De Blasio launched a new program called “New York Works” at a cost of $1.35 BILLION (that’s billion with a B) in order to put 100,000 people to work in jobs that paid a minimum of 50k. The goal of the program was to meet the 100,000 jobs target by 2027, so an average of 10k jobs generated each year.

So far, $300M of that $1.35 billion has been spent in the past two years.

3000. Three thousand.

The president of the city’s Economic Development Corporation gave an update on the program’s progress at a recent city council hearing, and had the unmitigated gall to say that the $300 million spent so far has “laid the groundwork” to create future jobs.

What’s the money been spent on, exactly?

“Infrastructure.” And “training.” HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!

And here’s where it gets even more hilarious. Dude also said that they count jobs as created if the administration simply “takes actions that help business” like “providing financing and tax incentives.” Those activities count as jobs created, you guys.

This is the biggest scam ever, it’s obvious to anyone with firing synapses, and if you’re a New York City resident who voted for this guy, and you didn’t think this was EXACTLY the kind of sh*t he was gonna pull? Well…
