WATCH: 171 Illegals Dig Tunnel to Try to Sneak Past Border, It Doesn’t End Well for Them

DHS Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen recently laid out the very dire situation on our border. Liberals continually tell us there’s no emergency. The Nancy Pelosis of the world call it a “manufactured crisis.”

I don’t know how you can look at angel moms holding up signs of their loved ones lost and continue to tout that narrative.

“I say this with the utmost sincerity and urgency: the system is breaking. And our communities, our law enforcement personnel, and the migrants themselves are paying the price,” DHS Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen said.

“Because of outdated laws, misguided court decisions, and a massive backlog of cases, we are usually forced to release these groups into the United States. And we have virtually no hope of removing them in the future, despite the fact that the vast majority who apply for asylum do not qualify for it,” she continued.

“Our laws aren’t keeping up with the migrant flows, and until they are fixed, the situation will only get worse and more heartbreaking. We need Congress to stop playing politics and do what’s right,” she added.

Liberals are opposed to a wall, but it’s necessary. Not only do we need to build new walls– we need to replace existing fencing, because it’s simply not working. Need proof?

Customs and Border Protection recently arrested 171 illegal immigrants who entered our country illegally by making their way underneath an “outdated portion of infrastructure.”
