Hero Who Chased Mosque Shooter With Shotgun Speaks Out

The HORRIFIC attack on New Zealand mosques that left 50 dead could have been much, much worse.

Why wasn’t it?

Because of a good guy with a shotgun.

It turns out one man risked his life to save others by chasing the shooter out with a shotgun he FOUND.

This man is now speaking out:

He didn’t SHOOT the terrorist because the shotgun was empty… but it STILL saved countless lives.

According to Daily Wire:

Alabi told the press he quickly realized that they were in a life-threatening situation when a man walked in dressed in black combat gear and holding a gun. He says he told congregants to get down. That’s when Aziz “went after him, and he managed to overpower him, and that’s how we were saved,” he said, adding, “Otherwise, if he managed to come into the mosque, then we would all probably be gone.” But Aziz insists he just did what anyone would do in his situation.

I would hope so – but I think it takes a special person to put your own life in danger like this for the better good. I thank the Lord those people exist in our world.

Aziz heard gunshots outside and rushed to see the source of the commotion – where he found two people already dead.

His instinct was to try to keep the shooter outside to “save other people.” When the killer went to his car to apparently retrieve another gun, Aziz said he hurled the credit card machine at the murderer. The shooter quickly began firing at Aziz, who took cover behind vehicles.

The 48-year-old hero then picked up a shotgun he found shell-less and discarded on the ground. When the shooter again returned to his vehicle and got in the driver’s side, Aziz threw the gun “like an arrow” and it smashed a window, which Aziz says he believes scared the shooter, who probably thought he had fired on him.

DOES THIS NOT PROVE THAT GOOD GUYS WITH GUNS DO, IN FACT, STOP BAD GUYS WITH GUNS?!

If it were not for Aziz and his empty shotgun, the man would have entered the mosque – and repeated the bloodshed that he inflicted at the first

Someone could have stopped this madman MUCH sooner if they would have been ARMED.

New Zealand, however, is now passing sweeping gun legislation – disarming their citizens, and leaving guns in the hands of criminals.

Not everyone will find a shotgun waiting for them.
