I woke up ridiculously early the other morning and perused the Twitter machine earlier than usual. I noticed “Vans” trending and decided to check it out.
There’s a new “challenge” going on with Vans shoes. The theory is this: You can throw them, toss them, chuck them or WHATEVER, and they will almost always land facing up.
Did you know it doesn’t matter how you throw your vans they will land facing up pic.twitter.com/nKVJCncW4H

BUUUUUT it seems like it’s true for most people!
I tried it, and it totally worked. I actually did it a bunch of times to see if I could get it to land the wrong way, and it wouldn’t. Well, one shoe landed a little funky ONCE, but it was only because it ran into the other shoe.
Participated in the Vans challenge because y not. IT WORKED. Totally landed the right way. 😅 pic.twitter.com/H86rlrJuVi

I should also note that I tried it with a Nike sneaker and it did NOT work. It actually landed upside down. BUUUT I also haven’t tested it with high top Vans, so maybe this only applies to low tops?
If you own a pair of Vans, please do this and report back. We need to get to the bottom of this.
