Hannah and I couldn’t make it to CPAC this year, though we would have TOTALLY gone if we could.
I did watch the ENTIRETY of Trump’s MARATHON speech on Saturday morning, though. I thought it was EPIC.
Joe Scarborough thinks I (and everyone who was actually there) should be ashamed of ourselves.
According to Daily Caller:
“The fact that Donald Trump has caused this in the Republican Party — that he’s caused this in American politics — actually, I think is probably going to be his worst legacy of many, many terrible legacies,” the host said in reaction to the fact that members of the audience clapped in response to Trump’s mention of the late Arizona Republican Sen. John McCain.
“But those people that stood up and applauded for John McCain’s death — let me just say to you, you may not be bad people, but you sure as hell gave a good impression of what a bad person looks like. And I mean this, and I do mean this with all the love in my heart, understanding that we all make mistakes and all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God,” Scarborough continued.
Did this happen?
Did people stand up and cheer someone’s death? I watched on TV, so I didn’t notice that.
I’m not at ALL a fan of this – but yeeeeah. I feel that Joe is blowing this, like EVERYTHING ELSE HE EVER TALKS ABOUT, wayyyyy out of the water.
He just wanted another opportunity to take a dig at Trump.
