Florida Man Arrested For Throwing A Cookie At His Girlfriend

There’s no shortage of weird Florida stories out there, and I think we’re so used to seeing SUPER weird ones that I clicked on this one and thought, “I’ve seen weirder.”

Meet Wade Smith. He’s been arrested for throwing a cookie at his girlfriend.

As you can see, he has a mega face tattoo.

Smith’s girlfriend reportedly told investigators that he “threw a hard piece of cookie and hit her in the forehead,” which deputies noted was red when they responded to the scene.

The 41-year-old, according to the news station, confessed to authorities that he threw the cookie at her.

Question: Would it still be considered domestic battery if it had been a soft cookie? SERIOUS QUESTION.

Online records from the sheriff’s office indicate Smith was booked at the Pasco County Jail in Land O’ Lakes on $500 bond.
