AOC Will Star In A Comic Book Now. For Real.

Sigh.

According to this, Alexandria Ocasio Cortez is going to be the face of Devil’s Due Comic’s May issue in a commemorative edition titled, “Alexandria Ocasio Cortez and the Freshman Force.”

You can see the cover at the sourcelink.  It’s nauseating. The caption is one of her famous tweets, “New party, who dis” – in response to Joe Lieberman who suggested that she’s not really the future of the Democrat party.

Devil’s Due Comics’ owner said, “It’s no secret that AOC has become the unofficial leader of the new school, and has sparked life back into Washington and that’s reflected in the enthusiasm on display by the men and women contributing to this project.  While we all don’t agree on everything, we share a common excitement for the breath of fresh air the new Congress brings. I hope this is as much a cathartic release for readers as it has been for us creators.”

If by “cathartic release” he is referring to the breakfast that you’re probably bringing back up right now, then I suppose he’s right.

Part of the proceeds from the sale of the comic will be used to help immigrants and refugees.
