Sen. Kamala Harris was one of the first high profile figures to jump on Jussie Smollett’s fake hate crime. She called it an ” attempted modern day lynching.”
Then we found out that Smollett likely staged his own attack, and she decided to play dumb.
“Okay, so I will say this about that case. I think the facts are still unfolding and I’m very concerned about obviously, the initial, um, allegation that he made about what might have happened,” she said.
“And it’s something we should all take seriously whenever anyone, um, alleges that kind of behavior, but there should be an investigation,” she added. “And I think that once the investigation has concluded then we can all comment, but I’m not going to comment until I know the outcome of the investigation.”
.@KamalaHarris‘s face and pause when asked about her previous tweet that the attack on Jussie Smollett was a “modern-day lynching” is something to behold

In case you missed it, she finally released a statement.
Like most of you, I’ve seen the reports about Jussie Smollett, and I’m sad, frustrated, and disappointed. pic.twitter.com/91OHOymShi

Typical lib response. Yeah yeah– Smollett is a total fraud, but that doesn’t change the fact that hate crimes exist, so there!
No. That’s not an adequate statement. Smollett wanted to paint Trump supporters with a gross broad brush. Trump supporters are a hateful racists– THAT was his desired narrative, and Kamala fell for it and STILL refuses to acknowledge that it was messed up for him to do that to US.
Try again, Kamala.
