Rush Limbaugh Was On Fox News Sunday And Had Some Things To Say About Trump’s Executive Action

It’s not every day that we get to see Rush Limbaugh on TV!

He infrequently sits down for interviews with Chris Wallace for “Fox News Sunday,” and it’s always such a treat. I know Rush isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but he’s my political sensei. I went from being a Rush Baby to a Rush Babe. I just love that guy.

He talked about all the hot topics of the day. (AKA, the spending bill and national emergency.)

He said the spending bill was the left’s plan to sink Trump.

“I read this bill — this spending bill, this bill is outrageous. [It includes] welcoming centers for newly arriving illegal aliens, and all kinds of medical care” — a reference to the allocation of $192,700,000 in the bill’s conference agreement to enhance medical care and transportation for illegal immigrants in U.S. custody, including to shelters run by nonprofits,” Rush said.

“The purpose of this bill, I think, was eventually to be used by the Democrats and some Republicans to tell the American people, ‘See, electing President Trump was pointless, worthless, he can’t protect you, he can’t stop us, he can’t do what he said he was going to do, because we hate him so much we’re not going to allow him to do it — that’s what this bill is,” he continued.

Wallace asked Rush how he can justify Trump’s use of executive action, because he wasn’t happy with Obama’s.

The difference? Obama was furthering this existing problem. It’s about right and wrong. Period.

“He was taking action that I deemed to be harmful to the country,” Rush said.

“I look at what Trump is doing as something he has to do because he’s not getting any cooperation whatsoever,” he added.
