As I’ve said before, I entirely condemn the attack on Jussie Smollet as reported.
The alleged attack is an absolutely heinous thing, and if it happened the way it’s being described, I will be the first to publicly condemn it. I will not apologize for being skeptical of certain details, because they truly do not make sense to me. This is not out of malice, but rather at disbelief that something like this could and would happen.
Kevin Hart, who has recently been sacrificed at the altar of political correctness, wished Smollett his best.
Sending prayers your way @jussiesmollett ….This is unbelievably sad. Why are we going backwards….this is disgusting. We as people have to do better. WTF is going on the world???? Why… https://t.co/G6vCnKPEhf

Which shouldn’t be problematic to the left, right? He’s offering his support.
Only… he made a gay joke a decade ago. So now he’s not allowed to be nice to gay people. Or something.
Keep yo tears n prayers…This is why yo joke was important and such an issue

Do you see why the “jokes” weren’t funny now??

Pseudo Sympathy. Just stop

Ah, yes. Because if you once made a gay joke, you CLEARLY wish harm on all gay people.
Reading all these comments are giving me LIIIIFFFFEEEEE
— Sarah E Gonzales (@MaestraGonzales) January 30, 2019
Really?
Because it’s making me brain dead.
This would have been the perfect moment for you to take some accountability for furthering the culture that encourages this violence. But if you understood what accountability is we wouldn’t be in this mess so.

Uh huh. I’m sure a DIFFERENT message from Kevin Hart would have been REALLY well received.
I think this is sad. He’s wishing him well. I don’t see how that’s a bad thing.
