Trump’s former lawyer Michael Cohen was supposed to testify before the House Oversight Committee on Feb. 7, but it was postponed. Cohen claims Trump and his team are “threatening” his family.
BREAKING: Michael Cohen postpones Feb. 7 House Oversight Cmte. testimony due to "ongoing threats against his family from President Trump and Mr. Giuliani, as recently as this weekend, as well as Mr. Cohen's continued cooperation with ongoing investigations," legal adviser says.

Source close to Cohen tells @KatyTurNBC that wife and father-in-law are particularly scared; wife scared about physically showing up to the hearing, thought she could get hurt.
They feel directly targeted by the president: “The threats are real. Trump knows what he’s doing.”

Cummings responded.
Cummings/Schiff say they still expect Cohen to appear at some point. "Not appearing before Congress was never an option." They calls "efforts to intimidate witnesses, scare their family members, or prevent them from testifying before Congress are textbook mob tactics"

Cummings/Schiff: We understand that Mr. Cohen’s wife and other family members fear for their safety after these attacks, and we have repeatedly offered our assistance to work with law enforcement to enhance security measures for Mr. Cohen and his family.

Cummings: I promise you that we will hear from Mr. Cohen. We will make those determinations soon and we will let you know how we plan to proceed but we will get to testimony as sure as night becomes day and day becomes night.

Cummings/Schiff on Cohen: This will not stop us from getting to the truth. We expect Mr. Cohen to appear before both Committees, and we remain engaged with his counsel about his upcoming appearances.

Cummings on Cohen's delay on testifying: It is upsetting because of the reason he gave for wanting to delay this testimony. He said very clearly that he was intimidated & threatened by the President..& his lawyer..That is simply unacceptable in a democracy.

Cummings on if he will subpoena Cohen: I have not made those decisions yet but we will make one soon.

The Senate Intel Committee is way ahead of ’em. It subpoenaed Michael Cohen to testify next month.
President Donald Trump’s former personal lawyer Michael Cohen was subpoenaed Thursday to testify before the Senate Intelligence Committee in mid-February, according to a source close to Cohen.
It is not clear how Cohen will respond. The source said that Cohen has the same concerns regarding the safety of his family that led him to try to postpone his appearance before a House Oversight Committee hearing.
By the way– Trump tweeted this today:
So interesting that bad lawyer Michael Cohen, who sadly will not be testifying before Congress, is using the lawyer of Crooked Hillary Clinton to represent him – Gee, how did that happen? Remember July 4th weekend when Crooked went before FBI & wasn’t sworn in, no tape, nothing?
