I’m so grateful that I’m not reliant on public transportation. I had my car with me when I interned in DC (I drove up there), but I BARELY used it, because it was too difficult. I used the metro rail to get to the office and everywhere else, and it SUCKED. Imagine waking up, running out of your apartment and squeezing into a RIDICULOUSLY jam packed car. I’m talking SO packed that you HAVE to look down and simply accept the fact that you’re being accidentally touched from all sides.
I’m still amazed that I didn’t get sick.
In my limited experience, there were less crazies in the morning. I usually encountered the weirdos during my rides home. This kind of reminded me of that.
As you know, the Women’s March just took place, which means that cities like NYC were filled with more crazies than usual.
This woman decided to lecture everyone on the “horrors” of eating meat.

I wouldn’t be able to sit there and take any of that crap seriously. That chick needs a burger and chili cheese fries or something. It’d probably straighten her brain out.
