Martin Luther King Jr. day is next week.
Leading up to this day of remembrance I ask… are we any closer to his Dream?
“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.”
Is it me… or are we moving AWAY from this? Why do I feel like more and more, the Left wants to focus EXCLUSIVELY on the color of people’s skin? As “diversity” becomes the central talking point, are we truly focusing on the content of people’s character? …or has that become secondary?
‘A half-century after his death, Martin Luther King Jr. is as revered as ever. But have we been following his example, or merely paying lip service to his ideas? Jason Riley, Senior Fellow at the Manhattan Institute, weighs in.’
“How is it, then, that so much of his legacy—what he hoped to pass on to the future—has been lost?”
