Chiefs Player Gives AFC Championship Tickets To Homeless Man Who Helped Him

It’s official. The AFC Championship game is next weekend. Chiefs vs. Pats. Chiefs have home field advantage which is definitely beneficial, but there’s no one who does better under pressure than Tom Brady. Plus, he totally has the eye of the tiger right now.

But this post isn’t about the game. It’s about a simple act of human kindness.

You see, Chiefs offensive lineman Jeff Allen got his car stuck in the snow, and a stranger– who had no idea that he was a player on the team– gave him a helping hand. As a thank you, Allen wanted to track him down and give him tickets to the championship game next week.

My car got stuck in the snow before the game & a nice guy named Dave help pull me out without knowing I was a player. I want to give him tickets to the AFC championship game for helping but don’t have a way to contact him. He drove a 97 or 98 Black Suburban. Pls RT #ChiefsKingdom

Unfortunately, a bunch of idiotic life-ruiners tried to impersonate the man for free tickets, but Allen eventually tracked down the right guy.

He’s going to the championship game and getting a ton of publicity. People seem eager to help him, which is awesome.

It’s one of those moments that you realize that social media can truly be used FOR THE GOOD.
