January 9, 2019Democratic leaders are ticked off, because President Trump reportedly stood up and walked out of their meeting after they (Dems) continued to refuse to fund the wall.
Schumer says Trump “slammed the table” and called the meeting a “waste of time” once Nancy said no to the border wall.
HECK TO THE YEAH MR. PRESIDENT. What a boss.
They truly expect Trump to just crumble and cave? They really think he’s going to bow to their demands after coming this far? I don’t think so. He knows they’re full of crap. Dems say, “Let’s reopen the government and continue the negotiations on the wall separately.” Trump knows better. It’s a lie. They’re not going to continue to discuss it. If they get Trump to cave, a wall is off the table.
Just left a meeting with Chuck and Nancy, a total waste of time. I asked what is going to happen in 30 days if I quickly open things up, are you going to approve Border Security which includes a Wall or Steel Barrier? Nancy said, NO. I said bye-bye, nothing else works!
