California’s new governor, Gavin Newsom, promised that his state would be a place of “sanctuary to all” in his inauguration speech.
Translation: Criminals welcome!
The nuttiness doesn’t end there. His wife, Jennifer Siebel Newsom, isn’t going to take the title “First Lady,” because it’s not inclusive enough. The title is kind of demeaning. Who cares if she’s a lady? That title doesn’t properly promote gender equality! So “First Partner” it is!
Seriously. That’s what she’s going by.
Jennifer Siebel Newsom, the wife of California’s new governor, will go by the title “first partner,” a description she feels is more inclusive than the traditional “first lady.”
The title change reflects the mindset of a woman who has spent years as a passionate advocate for gender equality.

Idiotic. It’s an HONOR to be the First Lady of a state. It’s not a demeaning title. It’s awesome, classy and elegant.
Fun fact: Gov. Newsom was previously married to Kimberly Guilfoyle, who’s now dating Don Jr.
During her marriage to Newsom, she went by “First Lady of San Francisco,” because she’s not a PC freak.
He went from THAT to being married to a woman who wants to be called “First Partner.”
