Dem Rep Won’t Back Down On “Hate Crime” Comments… Despite The Fact Entire Narrative Was BOGUS

Jazmine Barnes was an innocent little girl who was murdered by a drive-by shooting.

While her death in itself was horrific, the media really, REALLY focused on her case specifically.

Why? Because they were convinced she was murdered by a white man. It was a “hate crime” …and hate crimes get attention.

She didn’t die in custody of Border Patrol.

She was shot and killed by America’s real terrorist threat, a white man who opened fire on her family’s car as they left Walmart in Houston.

Well… her murderer has been arrested.

Yup.

And just like that, the left has stopped talking about this as a “hate crime.” In fact… they’ve entirely taken race out of the equation.

We know EXACTLY what they believe – what they’re MEANT to believe. This was on purpose… and it always has been.

…But they’re trying to pretend they never did anything dishonest or irresponsible.

According to Fox News:

A Texas Democratic Congresswoman is defending her earlier comments suggesting the drive-by shooting of 7-year-old Jazmine Barnes may have been a hate crime, even though both suspects in the case turned out to be black – and not a white individual as police and members of the public initially believed.

Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, when asked Sunday by a reporter about some of the comments made in the aftermath of the young girl’s death in Houston on Dec. 30, said it was “absolutely not” irresponsible to make that suggestion.

Barnes was shot and killed while sitting in the backseat of her mother’s car. Witness descriptions of a white man in his forties at the scene of the shooting – and a sketch put out by police – prompted widespread speculation a hate crime had happened.

“I believe – and having written hate crime legislation, knowing the criteria, I believe that this should be looked at as a hate crime,” Lee said during a press conference Friday, in a video posted to the Congresswoman’s Facebook page. “We don’t want to have on the street someone who is willing to kill children and possibly kill them in the name of hate.”

Wait… so EVERY murder is a hate crime now, right?

Because killing someone is a terrible thing to do.

Is that what she’s saying?! Or is she just MAJORLY SAVING FACE.

Will ALL black on black violence be a “hate crime” now? Will she cause this much of a fuss next time an innocent black child is gunned down by a black gang member on the streets of Chicago?

I’ll wait… but I’m not holding my breath.

I’ll stop rolling my eyes at this when Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee starts calling ALL gang-related violence a “hate crime.”

What bothers me is that EVERY CHILD who is EVER murdered deserves justice. They deserve this kind of attention. We should NOT prioritize some murders over others.

But the media doesn’t CARE about black and black crime. That doesn’t stir the people up. They care bout HATE CRIMES. They care about EVIL white people murdering innocent black people. They care about the NARRATIVE.

…and it’s sick.
