Pelosi’s Excuse For Vacationing In Hawaii During The Shutdown Is Something Else

Is there anyone more disconnected from the American people than Nancy Pelosi?

In case you didn’t know, Pelosi enjoyed a $10,000-A-Night suite in Hawaii during the government shutdown.

Democrats are cool with that, which shows how hypocritical they are, because they would’ve FLIPPED if Trump opted to jet off to Mar-a-Lago over Christmas break.

They expect Trump to conjure up a deal, but Pelosi’s allowed to say “NO WALL” and party it up in Hawaii.

Listen though. Pelosi has a really good excuse for living it up in Hawaii. First of all, $10,000 is just crumbs. Also, Trump probably doesn’t even know that Hawaii is part of the United States, so HA!

TODAY’s Savannah Guthrie basically asked Pelosi if she was a hypocritical beast (my words, not hers), and that was Pelosi’s answer. For real. She was all, “I observed the Christmas holiday for a few days and I cut in time half the time I would have had.”

“…the fact is we all stood ready and told our members we’ll have 24 hours notice for all of us to be where we need to be,” she continued before adding, “the president may not know this, but Hawaii is part of the United States of America. Maybe he doesn’t realize that. I don’t know where the president observed the religious holiday of Christmas. Do you?”

That’s your defense Nancy? Trump probably doesn’t know that Hawaii is a state?
