Pat Sajak Has The Best Solution For The Academy Awards Drama

I’ve never been into award shows. I used to watch bits and pieces of them a few years ago, but they’re largely unbearable.

Let’s face it. Those shows are all about virtue-signaling liberals awarding and praising other virtue-signaling liberals for being good virtue-signaling liberals.

The shows are no longer about recognizing Actual Talent. They’re about making political statements in the form of fashion and speeches.

By now, you’ve heard about the latest Oscars drama. Kevin Hart pulled out of hosting the event after “homophobic” tweets from 2011 surfaced and sparked mass freakouts.

I have made the choice to step down from hosting this year's Oscar's….this is because I do not want to be a distraction on a night that should be celebrated by so many amazing talented artists. I sincerely apologize to the LGBTQ community for my insensitive words from my past.

This is where we’re at. It’s mighty unfortunate.

However, Pat Sajak has a solution.

Here’s a quick fix for the Academy Awards show: expand it to two nights. On the first night, give out awards, and celebrate the history and wonder of movies. On the second night, hold your political rally.

BRILLIANT. Then normal people who don’t want the politics can watch, and the insufferable virtue-signaling jerks on the left can have an entire night devoted to patting each other on the back.
