Yowza. This made me a tad bit uncomfortable.
Of course, George H.W. Bush is on everyone’s mind today. His legacy was the subject of discussion on “The View.” Unfortunately, Joy Behar decided to use her time to whine about President Trump hating the environment and blah blah blah.
Joy was all, “This president that we have now is trying to unravel everything that he did and Obama did, and if I ever become a one-issue voter, it will be about pollution and the greenhouse effect…”
Meghan couldn’t take it and cut in.
“Can we focus on the president, please? I don’t want to talk about Trump.”
Things got REAL. Meghan told Joy she was “not interested” in hearing about her one-issue voting nonsense, and Joy was all, “I don’t care what you’re interested in!”
It probably would’ve continued to escalate, but they went to a commercial break.
Here’s the exchange, and yes. I realize the person tweeting the video is biased.
NutMeg McCain has another meltdown this morning because in a conversation about George HW Bush's passing, Joy wanted to discuss environment regulations HW passed that Trump is reversing. Veruca Salt didn't like that. #TheView pic.twitter.com/jO5IIm5orr

I don’t think Meghan acted out of line, but I also think it’s a tad bit hypocritical for her to get mad at Joy. Why? We’re talking about the woman who managed to get a Trump jab in during the eulogy for her father.
Remember? She said, “America of John McCain has no need to be made great again because it was always great.” She also made a remark about “cheap rhetoric from men who will never come near the sacrifice he [McCain] gave so willingly.”
Don’t get me wrong. I’m with Megan here. I’m sick of Joy’s whining too, and I don’t think it’s the right time, but still.
