Update: Twitter’s Thought Police PERMANENTLY Ban Jesse Kelly

Twitter’s been on a suspending/banning streak, and they’re not just targeting “conservatives.” They’re targeting anyone who questions the groupthink narrative, even if that person is a feminist.

That’s right, liberal feminists. You’re not safe either. You can be the best feminist ever, but if you DARE say something radical like, “trans-women are not women,” that is HATE SPEECH and you should be banned.

Last night, we told you about Twitter suspending Jesse Kelly.

We have an update. He’s been permanently banned. We still don’t even really know why he was suspended in the first place. It’s unclear what “Twitter rules” he violated.

Just talked to Jesse Kelly about his @Twitter account being suspended/deleted.

He has no idea what happened, he says he never received any messages from Twitter notifying him of any kind of violation of the platform's terms of service.

Don’t feel bad. Twitter doesn’t seem to know why it went after him either.

BREAKING: A Twitter spokesperson told me they were going to look into why Jesse Kelly's account was suspended.

Their official response: "We have nothing to share on this account."

I asked him if he has ever gotten any kind of warning or message from twitter before and he said, “never a warning ever. Of any kind. Nothing.”

Isn’t this exactly what Twitter’s thought police have been wanting to do all along? They want to get to the point where they can just *poof* ban people they don’t agree with.

Kelly wrote about his ban in The Federalist. It reads in part:

I had almost 80,000 followers and those poor people are now left aimlessly wandering the social media landscape in search of a greatness they’ll never find again. Now, I don’t really care because I’m just going to start a new account and it will be even better than my last one (if that’s possible). This isn’t about me. This is about what kind of country we have become and what kind of country we want to be.

We have become a nation of sensitive losers who care about words. We care about how things “make us feel.” The exception these days is the man who just wants to put his talent and his thoughts in the marketplace of ideas and see if people will buy it.

That man is rare today, but it was not always so. The American man used to be one who threw his family in a covered wagon and headed West into the wilderness. The American man used to be one who found out the Japanese had attacked men he didn’t know in a state he’d never visited so he ran down to the recruiting office to enlist in the Marines. That American man still exists, but he’s an endangered species.

The American spirit of free speech has been replaced by people who want uncomfortable speech censored. Nowhere is this more apparent than the social media world.

These social media companies are overplaying their hand. That’s all I’m going to say about it.
