It has ALWAYS been great. From the very beginning. It was founded on the principle of FREEDOM. It was about RESISTING TYRANNY.

I love how he handled the slavery aspect too. Yes– a total stain on our nation, but 1.) It was the culture of the day and 2.) There were a whole lot of white people who opposed it and lost their lives fighting for the freedom of EVERYONE, regardless of skin color.

Look where we are today. This nation gives EVERYONE the opportunity to move up and chase their dreams.
