Bill Nelson Implies That ‘Voter Suppression’ Played A Role In His Loss

It’s official. Rick Scott beat Bill Nelson by about 10,000 votes, and Nelson finally accepted defeat.

Are Democrats capable of losing gracefully?

I think we all know the answer to that question. Nelson is kinda sorta implying that “voter suppression” played a role in his loss.

I’m so incredibly sick of hearing about “voter suppression.” Requiring someone to show an ID is NOT voter suppression. If anything, it’s ensuring the integrity of our elections, which Democrats claim to care about preserving.

But consider: more registered Republicans voted than Democrats, but registered Ds outnumber Rs by 2%.

Turnout was 63% (if you just consider active registered voters).
