President Trump Says ‘Conduct Rules’ Are Coming To The White House

Chris Wallace’s interview with President Trump will air this Sunday, but we have some previews. Trump has already revealed what he plans to do if whiny Jim Acosta acts up during a press conference again. There are two viable options.

“We’ll throw him out or we’ll stop the news conference … if I think somebody is acting out of sorts I will leave I will say thank you very much, everybody, I appreciate you coming and I’ll leave,” he said.

No matter what he ultimately chooses, people will lose it and accuse him of being anti-free speech. Just get ready for that.

“OMG he THREW A REPORTER OUT OMG! He HATES free speech!”

“OMG he LEFT THE PRESS HANGING! He’s so inaccessible!”

That’ll be the narrative either way.

Is Trump disturbed by Acosta getting his way? Not so much. However, things have to change. He said the White House is going to write up rules of conduct.

“We’re doing that, we’re going to write them up right now,” Trump told Wallace. “It’s not a big deal and if he misbehaves we’ll throw him out or we’ll stop the news conference.”

The new rules, Trump says, will detail overall “decorum.” There’s going to be some sort of rule about reporters asking questions, even after they’re asked to STHU.

“We had a lot of reporters in that room, many many reporters in that room and they were unable to ask questions because this guy gets up and starts, you know, doing what he’s supposed to be doing for him and for CNN and, you know, just shouting out questions and making statements, too,” Trump said.
