As Daisy told you earlier, SNL decided it would be suuuuper edgy and cool to mock a Navy SEAL who lost his eye in combat. His name is Dan Crenshaw, and he’s a Republican congressional candidate in Texas.
“You may be surprised to hear he’s a congressional candidate for Texas and not a hit-man in a porno movie,” Pete Davidson added.
“I’m sorry. I know he lost his eye in war — or whatever,” he added.
“Or whatever.” Such respect, huh?
Utterly classless.
Cue Greg Gutfeld.
"lost his eye in war or whatever."….. this is @snl – they address a cast members breakup as if it's of vital importance. but laugh at a vet. https://t.co/4xoMLCKWTH

That’s all you need to know. SNL is trash.
retweeting this, cuz i'm wondering if I'm not getting the whole bit. Dan lost his eye, yes, in war. boy in jump suit laughs. HAHAHAHAAHA. hilarious https://t.co/xM08fyGGSW

was this before or after he joked about the veteran losing his eye in combat?
thank god relationships with pop stars are still sacred! https://t.co/LlO1OtX52Q— GregGutfeld (@greggutfeld) November 4, 2018
starting to rethink davidson joke. isn't the point that it's a ridiculously absurd thing to say? so when he says it, he knows that its cavalier delivery about such sacrifice is the punchline cuz there's nothing cavalier about that sacrifice. trying to be generous here. thoughts?

I see what he’s saying, but nah. Given SNL’s history, this is WAY too generous. That was not comedy.
