I mean… he obviously did it. He was dragged out of the place screaming vile garbage about his victims. But those are the rules. He’s a “suspect” until he’s convicted.
Anyway… he pleaded “Not Guilty” today, despite being the GUILTIEST POS I can even imagine.
He was indicted by a federal grand jury yesterday, and charged with 44 counts of “murder, hate crimes, obstructing the practice of religion and other crimes,” according to the Associated Press.
According to Daily Wire:
The charges carry a potential death penalty, which federal prosecutors have indicated they plan to seek.
This was the suspect’s second federal court appearance since the massacre at Tree of Life synagogue on Saturday. Police said the man yelled “All Jews must die,” before opening fire on the congregation, who were gathered for weekly Shabbat services. The gunman allegedly “raged against Jews” after the shooting, the AP reports.
U.S. Attorney Scott Brady told the AP after the suspect’s indictment that “today begins the process of seeking justice for the victims of these hateful acts.”
He remains in prison without bail… obviously.
