As I mentioned a few days back, Candace Owens launched a ‘Blexit’ campaign, which Kanye West designed merch for.
I was all about it. I think Blexit is an AWESOME movement, and I’ve mentioned before, I think Kanye’s outspoken support of Conservative causes was good for one thing: EXPOSURE.
Kanye had many of his fans thinking of Conservatism through a new perspective – and I thought it was rad.
Well… Kanye has now distanced himself from the Blexit campaign:
I introduced Candace to the person who made the logo and they didn’t want their name on it so she used mine. I never wanted any association with Blexit. I have nothing to do with it.

My eyes are now wide open and now realize I’ve been used to spread messages I don’t believe in. I am distancing myself from politics and completely focusing on being creative !!!

Hmm. Not sure if he’s referring to Blexit’s “messages”, or his support for Trump in the first place.
Who exactly was he “used” by? That remains unclear.
This, in no way, changes my strong support for Candace’s efforts. She has yet to respond to Kanye’s comments.
