Offended People Demand Company To Pull ‘Transphobic’ Costume

Halloween is around the corner. Have you picked out your costume yet? Perhaps you’re a big fan of a certain food. I’ve seen some pretty good taco and donut costumes. Or maybe you’re a traditionalist– there’s no shortage of pirate or witch costumes.

But there’s one costume you most definitely should never, ever, EVER purchase. This Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner costume.

As you can see, the costume reflects both BRUCE– being an Olympian and all– and Cait (the wig). However, a bunch of people are offended. They say this costume mocks transgender people, and I beg to differ. The costume simply reflects Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner’s LIFE STORY. He was a man who was an Olympic champion, and now he’s a man who identifies as a woman. Call it offensive, but that’s kinda sorta REALITY.

Interestingly enough, a rep for the costume company told TMZ that it will NOT pull the costume from the site, because it’s one of its best sellers. Guess people aren’t too offended after all!

A rep for Costume Agent, which originally created and distributed the controversial Caitlyn costume, tells TMZ they’re not yanking it from their own site, and certainly not discontinuing it … backlash be damned. We’re told the ‘stume is one of their best sellers, and despite receiving threats over it, they’re standing by their product. The rep says, “It’s a costume. It’s funny.”

Would I wear this costume? No. Do I have a problem with it? Also no.
