I guess it’s sort of an elephant in the room. Cruz and Trump went AT it during the Republican Primary. It was messy and gross. “Lyin’ Ted,” remember? And then remember how Trump retweeted something about Cruz’s wife being unattractive?
Yeah….it was rough.
One thing that really surprised me? Once Cruz lost, he put all the hard feelings aside, saddled up and decided to work with Trump to make MAGA happen. He didn’t allow personal animosity get in the way of the job that he was hired to do. He accepted that America chose Trump.
Still, a lot of people have questions, and he addressed it during an interview with ABC. I love the way he explained it.
Starts around the 2:03 mark:
I like how he answered the “friend or foe” question.
He’s POTUS.
Good answer.
There’s a YUUUGE rally in Texas tonight.
Incredible numbers for #HoustonRally. 100,000+ RSVPs. I have flown in early and my great team is setting up the first ever TAILGATER for outside. So everyone come, room for everyone. Come see @realDonaldTrump inside or out! pic.twitter.com/92M3qBs5tp
