For some reason completely beyond me, Twitter doesn’t have a problem with Farrakhan calling Jews “termites.”
I'm not an anti-Semite. I’m anti-Termite. pic.twitter.com/L5dPQcnVg4

He’s a disgusting anti-Semite, but surprise! Twitter decided he’s not violating their hateful conduct policy.
Just in from a @Twitter spokesperson: Louis Farrakhan's tweet comparing Jews to termites is not in violation of the company's policies. The policy on dehumanizing language has not yet been implemented.
So if you want to compare Jews to rats/insects – get it in while you can!

Enter Chelsea Clinton. She tweeted about this, and at first I thought it was really solid, but then… well, see for yourself.
Comparing Jews to termites is anti-Semitic, wrong and dangerous. The responsive laughter makes my skin crawl. For everyone who rightly condemned President Trump’s rhetoric when he spoke about immigrants “infesting our country,” this rhetoric should be equally unacceptable to you: https://t.co/EvFp4ULugm

Here’s my issue: She’s basically implying that Trump said something as equally disgusting, and THAT IS SUCH A BIG FREAKING WHOPPER OMG WTH IS WRONG WITH YOU CHELSEA?!
So YES– if you’re condemning Trump and his “hateful” words, you sure as heck better condemn Farrakhan, who is an ACTUAL ANTI-SEMITE. But no– Trump didn’t call immigrants gross insects, but thanks for that implication, Chels. Gotta promote the narrative at all times. Very sneaky! Your parents taught you well!
