Another Migrant Caravan Is On The Move To The United States, Trump Issues A Warning

There’s a migrant caravan inching its way to the United States. From what I’ve heard, it’s composed of 1,600-2,000 (although some estimates go as high as 3,000) Hondurans who just crossed into Guatemala in hopes of eventually reaching the US border.

The Associated Press reported that the caravan was met at the border by approximately 100 Guatemalan police officers as they chanted “Yes, we can.”

Outnumbered, the police did nothing to stop the caravan walking into Guatemalan territory after a two-hour standoff. Officers later set up a roadblock outside the city of Esquipulas. After another hours-long standoff, with officers telling them to go back to the border, the police eventually let them pass.

I’m sure most of them have heart-wrenching stories, but I can’t take the entitlement mentality. They truly believe they’re entitled to come into our country illegally. It’s their right.

No. No it’s not. Trump reminded them of that and issued a warning to Honduras.

The United States has strongly informed the President of Honduras that if the large Caravan of people heading to the U.S. is not stopped and brought back to Honduras, no more money or aid will be given to Honduras, effective immediately!

According to The Hill, the U.S. “gave $175 million in aid to Honduras in fiscal 2017, according to the United States Agency for International Development.”

That’s a pretty penny. But that’s how you do it. These countries need to take responsibility for the people they’re essentially sending over. Threaten to cut off the gravy train, and watch what happens. Something tells me these countries will care a little bit more about stopping these massive caravans.
