Kanye West has been getting a ton of hate for daring to think for himself. They’ve called him “mentally ill,” “a house negro,” “dumb,” “a white supremacist,” and so on.

How do these people not realize that THEY’RE acting like the racists? They’re mocking a black man and telling him he’s mentally ill for having his own political opinions. By reacting in such a despicable manner, are they not essentially suggesting that he’s not ALLOWED or CAPABLE of thinking for himself, because black men are supposed to be Democrats?

Come on.

Because of all that HATE, I found this really refreshing. Dave Chappelle supports Kanye.

“First of all, you know, Kanye’s an artist, man. He’s a genius.” Chappelle told CNN’s Van Jones. “I think the angle he’s seeing things from is about the division that he sees. And he’s not inconsistent with what he’s saying.”

“I’m not mad at Kanye. That’s my brother — I love him, I support him,” he continued. “But, you know, I don’t have to agree with everything that he says. I just trust him as a person of intent.”

Wow. So you can accept that someone has different opinions than you without accusing them of being mentally ill and a traitor to your race? Crazy! Who knew?!?!
