Everyone give a big ol’ hand for one of the flakiest Republicans in Washington, Mr. Jeff Flake!
As we told you earlier, he sat down with “60 Minutes” Sunday night and said there’s NO WAY he would’ve joined the Democrats in calling for an FBI investigation into Brett Kavanaugh if he were running for reelection.
From @60Minutes:
PELLEY: Senator Flake, you’ve announced that you’re not running for re-election and I wonder, could you have done this, if you were running for re-election?
FLAKE: Not a chance
PELLEY: not a chance?
FLAKE: No, no.

"Not a chance" — @JeffFlake @60Minutes on whether he could have done what he did this week if he was seeking reelection

“Not a chance,” Flake said during an interview with CBS News’ “60 Minutes” when asked whether he would have talked to Sen. Chris Coons, D-Del., among others, if he were not stepping down.
“There’s no value to reaching across the aisle. There’s no currency for that anymore. There’s no incentive,” Flake continued.
Dude. Flake sucks. He’s not even trying to hide the fact that he’s a giant piece of crap. The FBI investigation is stupid because there’s already been MULTIPLE inquiries into Kavanaugh’s past, and Democrats will NEVER be satisfied ever. By making this admission, Flake is proving that he’s just another partisan idiot who’s only concerned with himself. NOTHING he does is accidental. It’s all calculated, which brings me to this.
Flake is speaking in New Hampshire today. He’s speaking at Saint Anselm’s New Hampshire Institute of Politics and giving a speech titled, “After the Deluge: A Rejection of Destructive Politics and a Return to Principle.”
Yes. Flake is going to give a speech on returning to principle. Hilarious, I know. Keep in mind that this will be his second trip to New Hampshire this year.
You know what that means. There’s speculation that he’s testing the waters for a presidential run in 2020.
The visit could fuel further speculation that Flake, a frequent Trump critic who is retiring in January, could run for president either as an Independent or a Republican.

Senator Flake is so full of himself he actually thinks he has a shot at president?
There's fun. https://t.co/svx3zH7OD5

Keep in mind that Flake has NOT ruled out running.
“It’s not in my plans. But I’ve not ruled anything out,” he told NBC’s “Meet The Press” back in May. “I do hope that somebody runs on the Republican side other than the president, if nothing else, simply to remind Republicans what conservatism is and what Republicans have traditionally stood for.”
“I’ve not ruled anything out” is politician code for “Yes. I’m seriously considering it.”
Basically everyone on both sides hate him, so I’m not sure who he thinks is going to back him up.
