“Fewer illegal immigrants, higher GDP, more jobs, reduced deficit. Who could oppose that? I don’t know anybody.” He didn’t know anybody until Trump came along and forced him to change his stance, because #resisting is more important than anything else. Now if you say you want fewer illegal immigrants in this country, you’re a racist.

2018 Schumer would most definitely call THAT Schumer a racist. I’m sure of it. (And yes. I know there’s more context with the whole clip. We just thought it was funny to hear those words come out of Schumer’s mouth.)
