Only one thing will appease Democrats, and that involves Kavanaugh running out of town with his tail between his legs. Still, they’re pretending like this FBI investigation will lead somewhere and are already arguing that it needs to be a long, drawn out investigation. A week is FAR too fast! The FBI probably needs to extend this beyond– idunno– the midterms.
Like Benson said. I get why they’re doing it. It’s just a shame, because this gives Democrats yet another week to drag Kavanaugh and his family through the mud. There’s no bottom level. They’ll continue to sink lower.
We now have some random Yale classmate claiming that Brett Kavanaugh drank in “excess.” MSM REALLY wants you to know that you should listen to her, because she’s a Republican.
But Lynne Brookes tells ABC News that she recalls his drinking habits as much more extreme than what Kavanaugh conveyed during his hearing.
Brookes, a registered Republican in Pennsylvania, said she was in the ‘exact same social circles’ as the embroiled judge while they both attended Yale and he ‘mischaracterized himself’ when describing his drinking habits Thursday.
‘From something I witnessed personally,’ Brookes said. ‘I find it very hard to imagine that he never blacked out or had memory problems.’
I’m so sick of this entire thing. I hated the Democrats’ line of questioning on this. They tried to portray Kavanaugh as a raging alcoholic. “Oh, you drank. You like beer? You’ve been drunk? Then HOW DO YOU KNOW YOU DIDN’T ASSAULT SOMEONE WHILE DRUNK HUH HUH HUH?????”
That’s the logic we’re dealing with here. Good to know that everyone who has been drunk in college is basically a sexual predator. (Just using liberal logic here.)
“He was trying to portray that it’s one or the other, and at Yale there are many people for which it was both,” Brookes said. “I played two sports. I got good grades. I went to Wharton. And I drank in excess many nights with Brett Kavanaugh.”
“When he would drink, he would get obnoxious,” she continued.
Wait. Here’s her most DAMNING recollection. One time, Brett Kavanaugh drank beer and…SANG A SILLY SONG OMG.
“Brett was getting tapped in and he was incredibly drunk, in a ridiculous outfit and had to come up to me and sing a silly song,” she said. “He was so incredibly drunk. I find it not plausible at all that he remembers everything he did that night.”
“This is about the integrity of the Supreme Court,” she continued. “I know that Brett mischaracterized himself, and it’s incredibly disappointing that despite that this man could be elevated to the Supreme Court.”
So they were looking for him to say, “Yep. I got drunk in college.” Like…is that it? Because that’s freaking STUPID. The man said he drank in college. He said he still likes beer. Last time I checked, getting drunk in college and liking beer as an adult does not make you a gang rapist. GAWD.
You should also know that Brookes said she NEVER EVER EVER felt unsafe around Kavanaugh and NEVER witnessed him sexually harassing anyone ever.
But please ignore that. You know everyone else will.
