Sen. Mazie Hirono Reminds Us Why She Sucks

Sen. Mazie Hirono just spoke, and it was everything I imagined it would be. She actually said that Republicans are trying to distract everyone from Ford’s testimony this morning, which proves that she was NEVER PLANNING ON GIVING HIM A FAIR SHAKE.

“My colleagues on the other side are accusing the Democrats of some sort of political conspiracy, but that’s because they want to distract us from what happened this morning,” she said.

Are you KIDDING me? Even SHE can’t believe that.

You know, @maziehirono, when I’ve interviewed for jobs, I haven’t had to defend myself against uncorroborated, evidence-free allegations of gang rape and assault while my name was being destroyed. To label what’s happened here a “job interview” is fundamentally absurd.
