As you probably already know, when people talk about Asia Argento right now they’re not usually talking about her relationship with the late Anthony Bourdain…
They’re talking about the allegations of sexual abuse of a minor.
So in what looks like an attempt to shift the conversation, Argento is opening up about Bourdain’s suicide for the first time.
And I have to admit… it’s all kind of uncomfortable.
Asia Argento is breaking her silence on Anthony Bourdain’s suicide … saying his death left a hole that can’t be filled, and anger was the only thing that kept her from taking her own life.
Tears streamed down Asia’s face as she revealed her initial reaction to her boyfriend’s death was anger. Anger because she felt he was “abandoning me, my kids.”
Is anyone kind of surprised by that reaction?
She’s P*SSED at him. Like… I understand that, but she’s not a particularly likable person right now. Maybe she shouldn’t make this about HER?
No one really wants to hear how much of a victim SHE is right now.
Asia also told DailyMailTV — in her first interview since Bourdain’s death — her anger has now been replaced by an emotional hole that cannot be filled by anything.
Her obvious anger towards him is getting people to talk… because of previous rumors that her “anger” had something to do with his suicide in the first place:
What she says is also interesting because she had posted a cryptic message in the hours before Bourdain was found dead in a French hotel room. She was wearing a shirt that said, “F**K EVERYONE” and included the caption … “You know who you are.”
Asia’s IG post led to speculation she got into an argument with Bourdain right before his suicide … and there are rumors something happened that cut him to the core.
Could that “something” have anything to do with Jimmy Bennet’s allegations?
What we didn’t know then is that Anthony paid $380,000 to Asia’s sexual assault accuser, Jimmy Bennett. One theory is that payment exacerbated an argument with Asia.
WOOF.
I’m going to be honest. I have absolutely NO proof of this, and I’m not going to claim it as true. It’s just something I keep going back to…
I think covering up claims of sexual abuse for someone who’s trotting around yelling about how sexual abusers must come to “justice” would really, REALLY f*ck with a person.
Again… This is just a thought. I’m not saying his role in her alleged cover-up drove him to anything.
I just think it’s all absolutely horrific…
